wow, where does a year go! i can not believe it is already january 09!! well, maybe this year willbe a landmark year for me with my blogging habits :) ok, maybe we shouldn't have too great of expectations for that :(

I hope you all had a great christmas! our family went to the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells with Rons family and we had a blast! maybe i will get some images posted from the trip..... maybe.

Locks of Love

Some of you may know my office manager Jahn has a 13 year old daughter, Jenna, who was diagonosed with a rare childhood soft tissue cancer this summer. I just want to thank all of you who have checked in with me on how she is doing with her chemo, and to see if their was anything you can do to help. I know Jahn appreciates all of you. Well, my girls all have personally felt touched by this experience, and my youngest, Lila, who has always kept her hair long, asked if she could "give her hair to cancer". This week, Lila went for her first visit to the hair salon, and donated her hair to Locks of Love, which is a wonderful organization that creates wigs for cancer patience. Here are the photos from Lilas experience!
